Therapist Statement
There is nothing I enjoy more in therapy than awakening awareness and insight, encouraging action, fostering healing, and cultivating joy and hope. I believe helping is an honor and that therapy should be a collaborative experience. My goal within each therapy session is that you will feel heard and leave with hope. Viktor Frankl stated, “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” It is my joy to join you in this "space" as we collaboratively pursue growth and freedom for you.
When I’m not in session, I enjoy spending time with my family. My oldest daughter and son-in-law live in Indiana while my youngest daughter attends college in Colorado. As empty nesters, my wife and I enjoy long meaningful conversations over good (i.e. strong) coffee. In addition to my family, I enjoy being outdoors, growing deeper in my faith, and Thai food!
